Welcome back! I've replaced the previous Dimansia with the most recent version.. if you have any previous version of Dimansia, PLEASE PLEASE delete it and replace it with this one. This goes for Beer Garden too please. Dimansia

Volcano2 has been officially removed and replaced by CTF_VOLCANO2! added team support and ctf flags, as well as adjusted the items that were causing some servers to crash while trying to load. Fans of the original Volcano will find the underside of this map a more rewarding challenge.
Please delete any prior version of Volcano2 or
volcano2-b (beta) that you had.
ALSO : Added my custom version of THE TICK to download from here... I simply rearranged the sounds to make more sense to the character. I take no credit for creating the model, as the readme will reflect

Volcano2 has been officially repaired! I took a little bit of time to adjust some of the weapons to powerup ratios, and added a few devious tricks.
(Work on Dimansia continues!)

Volcano 2 is now ready for public consumption! This one I actually started trying to do several years ago (why does that sound familiar??) but the broad scope of what I wanted to do wouldn't work in the GTK Radiant engine (note I blame the editor this time, not the game engine :P... I tried to do a small city on the rotating disc and it wouldn't work) oh well... this one is an update of what I think Volcano could have been if I hadn't been in such a rush to get it out the door. You can now (with care) swim in the lava.. the Borg sector is taken out in favor of Stasis (why noone ever used Stasis maps I'll never know... oh yeah, they were too complex for our video cards to handle back in the day!!..that's a sad state of affairs..) area, the Camelot area is expanded significantly, Starfleet has an upgrade or two while the Klingons remain rooted in the violent past.
I'm still pondering finishing Dimansia....

Upon request, I've gone back and edited a few things in DRWHO and made a revamped edition, DRWHO1_3. You'll note the changed link in the colum to the left.
Here are the following changes :
Due to a number of complaints and server connection issues, I felt the need to come back and edit this one last time and "get it right" as it were... Some of the issues I fixed were mainly regarding the faulty teleporter system in getting to the hidden rooms... those were supposed to be a surprise, but the system fell through, not getting to them often enough, and trapping people or bots from each other, so hopefully this version will be much better. The map is still the same, as noted, with a couple minor additions / revisions:
Finally FIXED the water in the pool (heh, put ladders ALL around the pool this time)... bots *might* still get stuck near the diving board.. there's a discrepancy between the ladder surfaces right there, but not a big deal.
added K9's hiding hole. Leads to the Master's area.
Added a "studious" intrigue .. look for the odd bookshelf.. leads to the boobytrapped Tardis console room.
fixed the placement of some minor things like the architecture backdrop window and main window arch in the Cloister Room

Just in time for Christmas and 3 days before my birthday is a beta of my latest and probably (heh I've said that before!) my last map for Elite Force. "DIMANSIA" is available at the bottom of the list to the left. I've enjoyed mapping all these years, and especially coming back and doing newer maps and touching up some of my skills, but it's not really about skills, it's all about having a REALLY FUN TIME! Lose that and you've already lost the game. I hope you enjoy the beta!
(Updated again on 9-20-2007)
I began
mapping for Star Trek Voyager Elite Force in March, 2001, receiving
tips from another online mapper Stukatto. My first map was "Cubicle",
which was quickly followed up by upgrades, and then finally, my
biggest challenge at the time : "Brokenholo" .. aka The
Broken Holodeck. My biggest and best maps to date are "Surefall and Surefall version 4",
followed closely by "Volcano". Although I hope you enjoy all my maps, but If you're an Everquest
fan, you'll especially enjoy Surefall, Surefall v4, EQArena1 and EQarena2, as they are
ports of those areas for the Elite Force game. (EQArena 2 is a mix of the Nexus and the Arena)
Special Thanks to George Carver, who found
Venice in his own files! Thanks George, that map is now up!
*There is a JK2 version of Surefall floating around there somewhere.. it should be called "jksurefall".
Added my "Doctor Who" map to the collection to the left. Whew! It took that one a LONG time to finish! I started that way back in 2001!! Course, I stopped working on it in 2002, so there has been a five year gap in it. I *HOPE* you will be pleasantly surprised by it, if you're a Doctor Who fan. If not, well, I hope you enjoy the music and sounds. I recommend getting THIS MODEL to play in it, as it is very core to the new series of Doctor Who. Now if someone would model the Cybermen and some of the Doctors for Elite Force! ;)
(re-updated 8-6-2007)
I re-re-re-re-edited the Surefall4 version to finish what I initially intended but couldn't put in due to the limitations of the original EFradiant editor. There's TONS of new stuff!! Even from those who previously had version 4, you'll want to download it again!
* New areas, new sniper positions, new breakable areas, added layouts!
